This is my first refillable after switching first from cigarettes to gas-station/vape shop disposables and pods and I couldn’t be happier. I did quite a bit of research before buying this kit and went with this one because it is simple, and still has a few features I can tinker with as my first refillable. It’s so much cheaper and more enjoyable. I didn’t want something too complicated for my first refillable with changing coils and determining what ohms to get and the mess of tanks and the unsightly giant vapes with giant smoke clouds etc. I wanted something as a first introduction into refillables. This is the perfect first step. I like that the fill port is at the top of the pod so it doesn’t spill and create a mess like the ones on the side. I like that the grey leather is subtle and kind of classy – I wouldn’t go for the bright colors, I wanted something that was a step up from gas-station pod kits but that would last longer, be cheaper, let me try new flavors and not be too complex. The information displayed on the screen is helpful, including the battery percentage and when charging how long it will take to charge, it displays the number of puffs and also when you take a puff it shows how many seconds with two decimal points how long the puff was, the ohms of the coil, and the set wattage. As a first time refillable user, I like that I can adjust the wattage – it gives me one step into the vape world of seeing what that does to the flavor and experience of vaping without being too complicated because there is only one ohm coil available for the pod – 0.7 ohms (although the device displays 0.8 ohms). That 0.7 or 0.8 ohms is right in the middle between the sub-ohm and more gas-station style vape products so you can use both the salts and the regular juice and adjust your strength without having to figure out what coils to buy. It has enough to play with to enter the refillable vape world. I wanted something with a little bit of adjustment such as the wattage so I went for this one over the more simple pod kits that don’t have a display screen with adjustments. I also went with this one that goes up to 30 watts over the other ones that only go to 20 to delve into the world with my first steps into refillables. I like that it slips into my pocket like the pod kits I would get at the gas-stations and is not much bigger than them either. Perfect Vape has great prices, great customer service and surprisingly quick shipping. The only thing I would say is that I don’t think the pods are connected magnetically as it states in the product description here and in many places I read on the internet. The pods definitely snap in, and actually are a bit challenging to take out but because the cap lifts off and it is filled from the top it isn’t much of an issue. It may be magnetic with the snap as a second source – after I burn through a pod or two I may try to file off the little clips on the pod to see if it does connect magnetically as well, but just a thought I think that may be incorrect in the description, at least in the version I received. Overall, great product and I highly recommend it, and highly recommend PerfectVape. I hope this review helps!

After being used to the Novo 4 and liking it quite a bit I was skeptical of trying the 5 as it’s got only 1 type of pod available. I’m glad I tried it since it puts out great flavor and is so far been totally leak proof. Filling the pods is easy though tricky getting the mouthpiece off sometimes but it works really well. Having only 1 type of pod does make it a little easier. So far it’s been totally leak free and I’m always dropping my vapes which has been hard on my Novo 4 pods. Overall it’s a great new Novo.
